Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are not permitted on the EnderGrid Service. It is part of our Terms of Service. We may update it as needed to protect our network, our customers, and third parties.

1. Prohibited content and activity

You may not use the Service to host, store, transmit, or link to material or to engage in activity that:

• Is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity, under any law that applies to you or to us.
• Infringes intellectual property rights, including pirated software, cracked plugins/mods, or content you are not licensed to distribute.
• Contains malware, ransomware, keyloggers, cheats designed to compromise other systems, or tools whose primary purpose is unauthorized access.
• Is sexually explicit material involving minors, or content that sexualizes minors in any form. This results in immediate termination and referral to authorities.
• Harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence or hatred against individuals or groups.
• Facilitates fraud, phishing, spam, or the sale of stolen data or credentials.

2. Network abuse

You may not use the Service to:

• Launch or participate in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, "booters", or "stressers".
• Scan, probe, or attempt to breach the security of any system or network without authorization.
• Send unsolicited bulk messages, or operate open proxies, open relays, or anonymization services for abuse.
• Mine cryptocurrency, run distributed compute jobs, or otherwise use your server for purposes unrelated to game hosting where doing so degrades shared infrastructure.

3. Cheating and manipulation of the Minecraft ecosystem

You are responsible for how your community is run, but you may not use our Service to distribute account-stealing tools, operate services that violate Mojang's or Microsoft's terms (such as unauthorized authentication bypass), or run "offline-mode" servers configured to enable account impersonation. Servers must run in online mode.

4. Resource fair use

Your plan reserves the memory it lists. CPU and disk I/O are shared fairly across the node. Sustained activity that materially degrades service for other customers — for example runaway plugins, fork bombs, or excessive disk thrash — may be throttled or suspended. We will contact you where practical before taking action.

5. Reporting abuse

If you believe a server hosted on our network violates this policy, report it to [email protected] with as much detail as possible (server address, timestamps, and evidence). We investigate all credible reports.

6. Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, suspension, or termination, depending on severity. Serious violations — especially those involving illegal content or attacks on others — may result in immediate termination without refund and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement.
